#BLOGtober 7th - Soap & Glory Multi-Color Blush Bricks "Love at First Blush" & "Peach Party"

Soap & Glory Multi-Colour Blush Brick

Soap & Glory Shimmer Powders "Peach Party" and "Love at first Blush":

These two have been my go-to shimmer blushes all summer!
I might have reached for "Peach Party" a little more as I like the peachy golden/bronzy color more than the pink but both are definitely favorites of mine.

The Soap & Glory blushes are multi-colored shimmer powders, they´re shaped like a wheel which gives me an instant thought of the "Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights" (anyone else?).
However, I will say that Soap & Glory Peach Party and Love at first Blush contains a lot more shimmer, more like the "Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks" (just to make another dupe hint).

They are both smooth in formula and gives a nice color/shimmer payoff.
I love the color it gives when it´s mixed but I also tend to use each color alone a lot.
For example, to highlight my brow bone, down my nose, my cupid's bow. I even use this on my lips with either an oil base or a lipgloss on top.

A lot of the colors are nice as a shimmer base for eye makeup, and also to make your cheekbones pop.

Definitely a budget friendly shimmer product to check out!

#BLOGtober 4th - Garnier Skin Active Micellar Oil-infused Cleansing Water

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil

I haven´t used products like this on my skin for years, I´ve steered clear of anything less than high-end brand skincare and my skin has gotten better - it just never stabilized and stayed that way.

I started using the first product in this line that came out, the Micellar Cleansing Water, it was a huge hype and I got it as well like "everybody else" :) It removed my makeup really well before getting into the actual cleansing with my regular products, instead of having to wash my face 5 times to be sure every last bit was gone. I liked it, but I didn´t like the feel it left my face and it didn´t have a very nice scent to it.

I still wanted to repurchase and by the time I did - this had made the shelves!
The Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil.
It looked so much more interesting than the regular type and I went straight home to try it!

What it says:

- Removes make-up
- Cleanses
- Soothes
- No rinsing
- Non-greasy finish

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil

I am on my second bottle of this now, and I don´t even know where to start? I am SO SATISFIED with this product!
First off it smells AMAZING (think The Body Shop honey/honey bronze collection).
The oil feels really good on my skin, just make sure to shake the bottle well before using!

I don´t know if it is my age, have I reached a certain point in my life that my body decided to end my skin problems? Or is it simply this cleanser? I know that 25-26 is an actual time where your body tends to stabilize, skin wise and hormonal, but was I supposed to feel it this hard?
I have NOT been good at exercising since April, I have not been eating well, I have been sitting inside studying for months, I am super stressed and I´m tired 24/7 - it doesn´t sound like a good thing for my skin - does it?

MY POINT IS ever since I started using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil, my skin has stabilized so much! I don´t get the same blemishes as I used too (except the usual time of the month, but they´re not as bad as they used to either).
My skin is far from perfect, and it will never be as I have large pores and uneven skintone - I guess my face will never look a 100% healthy. As sad as it is, I need to look at the positive side - that it is better than it used to be:)

I think I might have overstimulated my skin to some certain point before? I did everything "right" skin care wise, and as I said, my skin got better but never good.
Now I stopped using all the products I used to, Like; my skin has not been needing any moisture so I haven´t used lots of creams.
I simply remove my makeup in the evening with the Garnier Oil Cleanser and I do this until there´s nothing left. I wash my face lightly in the mornings and I cleanse again before applying my makeup.

As simple as it gets.

It felt SO WRONG in the beginning, putting this Garnier stuff on and NOT RINSING?!
But what felt so wrong, felt so good, because of how time-consuming cleansing your face is.
Honestly... I got a little lazy - and I just went with it for a few days!
As I saw results just after a few days, my skin felt better, it felt moisturized, I got a new glow, and my blemishes stopped popping up. I continued this routine, and I honestly believe it has made my life better!

Now I am on the search for a new (high end) skincare line that might fit my skins needs better than the one I used before. Maybe my skin and body HAVE changed this last year.
My plan is to introduce it little by little, as I am afraid of my skin purging. I don´t have time OR the psyche for that right now.
Because no matter how good this Garnier Oil Cleanser is, my skin has other needs too and I can´t stop using regular skin care forever, but I think it has been a good break and it amazed me so much I felt I had to talk about it! I´ve already snapped this to several of my friends, preaching about how good it is!

Have you tried this? What do you think about it?

#BLOGtober 2nd - bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream in Buttercream

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue

I´ve had this tinted cream for a few months now, but it´s not until recently that I kind of "rediscovered" it.

bareMinerals is a brand that I´ve been using ever since it started selling their famous mineral powders, I´ve always liked their products and I´m always curious when they launch new ones.

This cream caught my eyes immediately and even though the price tag sat me off QUITE a bit, I knew I had to get it.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue

I rarely get the color right when I swatch foundation products in stores.
Even with the help from the ones that work there, getting a return if the color doesn´t match when you get home, is not normal where I live.
I´ve lost count on how many bottles of wrong colored foundations I have in my collection.
But if I´m ever going for either the Oompa-Loompa or the geisha look - I´ve got it covered!

I ended up with the color "03 Buttercream", which blended perfectly with my skin tone in-store.
When I got home I was very frustrated and disappointed the first weeks as it does make me look a little pale, and even though it evens out my skin tone it does not cover my red spots.

It does not look good on blemishes at all, it makes them look more inflamed and I don´t feel using a lot of concealer with this tinted cream goes well together.

It is buildable to some point but does not have a lot of coverage.
On the other hand, it does have a very light feel and it makes me feel like I don´t wear any makeup - which is a good feeling!

It doesn´t oxidize which is good, I´ve had a few creams/foundations that do this and it is beyond annoying!

It definitely gives me a natural, fresh and dewy look. Not to mention a glowing look! Which is probably the best feature in my opinion.

It defintely feels a little sticky and it needs to be set with some kind of powder.

Oh how I wish I had that type of skin that could pull off using JUST this as an everyday foundation.

I believe this is the perfect base for those with perfect skin, with no red spots or scars that you want to cover.

I tried covering the red spots with bareMinerals concealer, but it does not mix well with the gel cream and it just did not look very good.
It made me look patchy and it kind of ruined the whole "fresh-faced-no-makeup-makeup-look".

A lot of people with dry skin are complaining about it, so perhaps this isn´t the greatest option for you.

I´m not sure where to land on this product! I can´t say for sure that I will be repurchasing it, but I will give it another go during this fall and see how it works out for me :)

[First Impression] NYX Micro Brow Pencil in the color Brunette

NYX Micro Brow Pencil

💜NYX micro brow pencil color: brunette💜

NYX Micro Brow Pencil has been on my wishlist ever since it launched, I didn´t manage to get my hands on it right away as it took quite some time until it got available in my region (like always)😒
By the time it was available I had started doing my brows a little different and I wasn´t as depending on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz as I used to be anymore.

I am a huge fan of ABH Brow Wiz and I have tried A LOT of similar products and dupes in the search of the perfect alternative as the pricetag is not suitable for me at the moment.
It hasn´t been easy and I ALWAYS end up back with my beloved Anastasia Brow Wiz.
Until now?🤔

NYX Micro Brow Pencil
NYX Micro Brow Pencil
NYX Micro Brow Pencil

I didn´t intend to make this a dupe post as I would love to make a separate one - it´s just not that easy keeping it a straight "first impression" without mentioning the fact that it is a really good dupe to one certain product. The similarities are simply too many (and they´re good as well) - but that´s all part of my actual first impression of the NYX Micro Brow Pencil.

My very first thought is (as I guess you´ve noticed) that it is in fact (not suprisingly) very similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz.

It comes in the same type of packaging and the whole design is pretty much the same, even the fonts used are similar.
But then again, how many ways can you design a retractable micro brow pencil a smart and delicate way?

I think we can conclude with the fact right away that the design is a dupe, and a good one too. The real question is: what about the quality?

The first thing that comes to my mind is that it doesn´t feel cheap! This was one of my biggest fears. I am always afraid to touch the lids of cheaper (dupe) products as this always seems to be their weakest point.
But these lids feels sturdy and not like it´s going to come off while in your makeup bag (imagine brunette brow pencil smeared all over) They make that satisfying *click* sound when you put the lids on and the only thing I notice is a tiny sqeaky sound when I twist up the pencil.

NYX Micro Brow Pencil
NYX Micro Brow Pencil

Another thing that´s usually a point of dissapointment is the spooly, they´re either too long, too soft or too damn hard (feels like you´re scraping your brows off, ouch) but this feels like surprisingly good quality and it boths blends and works so well!

The pencil tip doesn´t seem as sharp on the pictures as it was right out of the box because I started using it before snapping a photo (bad blogger, I know🙄) - but I promise, it was so nice and sharp in the beginning😍

Applying the product is easy, the color is nice and the color payoff is as expected.

I´ve used NYX MIcro Brow Pencil for a few days now after starting this post, and even though I do my brows a little lighter and more natural at the moment I feel it works very well. The tip makes it easy to sculpt my brows and filling them in. Blending is a dream with the spooly and I´m left with natural, not overworked brows.

It might go on a little lighter than certain other brow pens I´ve tried and it also might smear easier (not saying it actually smears, but if I have to point out a possibility for this, it felt like it could).

I have nothing to say on the staying power and this is a definitive repurchase for me!

I actually got pretty lost for words while looking at it and testing it out because I could not believe the quality it has compared to the price!

I´m not saying that I won´t ever buy ABH Brow Wiz again, but as long as my student economy is as it is - NYX will be more than good enough for $9.99 (about £7).

Review & swatches of Mac "Dreamy" lipglass

Hallelujah! This is a gloss that I´ve been searching for all of my life!

Mac Dreamy Lipglass is a semi sheer glitter gloss with a frosty/crystal finish.
The glitter is pinky gold and it has a lot of shimmer in it. I didn´t manage to catch too much of the glitters on the lipswatch picture, but it does really show when applied on the lips. I love it!

The glitter is not chunky so it´s not uncomfortable to wear at all.
It has a sticky texture, but it feels quite moisturizing and it gives me that good pouty lips feel.

Other reasons why I love this gloss is that it goes so well with my nude and pink lipsticks!
I think it has a slight vanilla scent, but no taste. I react very quickly to scents and this does not bother me at all.

It gives me the most perfect glamour, babe-looking lips and some may say this is the perfect gloss for partying, but for me this is the perfect gloss for everyday! :)

Boots coconut & almond hand and nail cream

My hands have been very dry and sore lately, the weather has been harsh and I am trying out new hand lotions and cream all the time to find that special one.

This is one of my top three favorites at the moment!
First off; Boots Ingredients Coconut & Almond hand and nail cream smells AMAZING! I love everything coconut and that is the main reason why I got it. When I saw the name "coconut" I just had to have a quick sniff and I was sold. I got even more excited when I tried it because the formula is really good too!

This cream feels light when applied and it does absorb quite quickly, it doesn´t leave my hands sticky at all and the scent actually has some staying power as well.

As for my dry hands it does a good job! It soothes and softens my hands, and as long as I make sure to be good at moisturizing my hands often I am able to keep the dryness away.

This is definitely a recommendation from me! And if you love coconut as much as I do, make sure to try it out!

*BLOGtober 29th* 4 Warm MAC Eyeshadows for Fall

Mac Quad Fall Eyeshadows

Hi! I thought I would have plenty of time for my blog, but life and school has been quite busy lately. I don´t go to school every day, but I have been really good at prioritizing school work instead of blogging at home😅 Finals are coming up, and I guess I won´t be as active on here until those are finished. Wish me luck!😄

Today I thought I would share with you four eyeshadows that I really love during fall🍁🍂😊

They are all from MAC and of course this is just a small selection of my favorites (any beauty addict will know this struggle)..😅 I decided to share this one as it looks nice put together, I use them mostly with other either darker shades or more lighter, neutrals for a more toned down look.

The colors are: 1. Cranberry, 2. Tempting, 3. I can´t remember the name of this!😡 and 4. Satin Taupe.

I am still in love with Cranberry, but I also still struggle making it work for me. I love the color, but it just doesn´t look right on me! It´is sad, but it´s still one of my favorites...😞😊
I don´t remember the name of nr. 3 right now, and the name on the back is gone. I got it before leaving for vacation some time ago. I wanted something natural for a bronzy, summery look. I love using this as a transition color. Looks absolutely amazing with my blue eyes! Still I do struggle with too warm and bronzy colors. It looks great with blue eyes, but I don´t always like the way it makes me look...

Here´s a beautiful swatch for you guys! Don´t they just scream fall??💕

*BLOGtober 21st* Smokey or Neutral Eyes for Fall?🍁🍂 Smashbox Full Exposure Travelsize Eyeshadow Palette✨

Smashbox Full Exposure Travel eyeshadow Palette
Smashbox Full Exposure Travel Eyeshadow Palette

This Full Exposure Mini Palette comes with 8 shadows, 4 matte and 4 shimmer.

I´ve been wanting the full size palette for a while, but never managed to defend buying it😝
When I saw there was a mini palette I got it right away! It´s such a perfect size for a makeup bag and perfect to carry with me all the time. It simply doesn´t take any place!

Also it holds two (the darkest matte ones) shadows that I can easily use for my brows - so I have brows and eyes in the same little palette!

It has a nice shadow for highlighting as well and all in all it is perfect for both a natural and a darker smokey eye. I could easily go on vacation with JUST this palette - that should say a lot. I am the "going to bring 7 different palettes + 2 customized palettes for a week long vacation" kinda girl.. So yeah, it should say a lot! 😅

Do you have this palette, or the full size? What do you think of the Smashbox Eyeshadows?

It is not my holy grail palette, but I think it is a damn good one!

*BLOGtober 20th* BB Cream for Fall? Lancome Hydra Zen BB Cream

I bought this BB cream this summer and used it a lot when my skin was at it best (means: don´t need too much coverage).

As fall arrived and the air suddenly got crisp, harsh and cold - my skin broke out and I had a SERIOUS hard time coping with my life at this time (still do). It didn´t help that I catched a bad cold as well (wich always gives me breakouts) it lasted for several weeks and I hasn´t until now started to calm down. I still have acne coming out of nowhere and I do need to use self tan to even out my face colour so I am able to not wear a ton of makeup ALL THE FREAKING TIME just to be able to go outside the bedroom door. EVERY FALL/WINTER it´s the same😡

This is extremely damaging to my everyday life and my whole life right now evolves around treating my face, cleansing it right, not wear too much makeup, give it enough moisture YOU KNOW THE DRILL.

Then so to my point, THIS BB CREAM, holds a lot of moisture, and for the days that I don´t want to wear a full face with serious amounts of foundation - this is perfect. It gives me such a nice glowy base and with some powder or bronzer on top it kills the worst discoloration and evens out the best that it can.
It is slight too dark for me now as I am not tan at all anymore, but the darker the better coverage, so I just need to work on my tan so I can wear darker shades for my face😅

Have you tried this BB Cream? What do you think of it?

*BLOGtober 19th* Fall Nude Lips🍁🍂💋 Maybelline Color Sensational Tantalizing Taupe Lipstick

Maybelline Color Sensational Tantalizing Taupe Lipstick

I love dark and bold lips for Fall, but nude lips will always be my favorite all year round. This is a great addition to my nude collection and has become a lipstick that I grab for often!

It´s from the "Stripped Nudes" collection - which maybe one, two or three from this collection is available in Norway, this shade was the most appealing to me.

It is a pale pink nude and I find it very suitable for everyday use, it is easy to apply and yes it does need reapplying during the day, after meals and such, but I reapply my lipstick several times during the day anyway - so it´s not a big deal. It doesn´t dry out my lips (even though my lips at the picture wasn´t in their best shape I will admit!)

Have you tried any of the Lipsticks from this collection?

*BLOGtober 18th* My current go-to highlighter ✨The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer✨

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter

There´s is sooo many new DELICIOUS, if I am allowed to use that word, highlighters on the market right now - Hourglass, CT, Anastasia Beverly Hills just to mention a few - and I want them all. I am almost drooling just thinking about them.

BUT.. as I am currently one extreme case of a poor student, that is not something I am able to splurge in just now. Those days are sadly over for a few years I guess..😅
Anyone else feeling me?

I might not have all the highlighters that I want, but I do have this one.
And it´s an oldie, but a goodie! The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter ✨

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter Swatch

It gives such a beautiful glow to my skin and it fits my complexion just right.
It´s not too pink and it´s not too golden. If I have a tan it looks even better.

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter Swatch

I should definitely put up a nice dewy MOTD using this highlighter, and it´s in my plans doing so!
It´s just that I haven´t been wearing too much makeup lately as I´ve been drowning myself in studies...😜 Blog has not been prioritized..😞

What is your current highlighter favorite?

*BLOGTOBER 17th* Favorite Dry Shampoo I´ve been loving lately💕

Batiste Dry Shampoo Eden Sugar Melon & Honeysuckle

Today I just wanted to quickly share what kind of dry shampoo I´ve been loving lately.

Batiste is my favorite drugstore brand when it comes to dry shampoos. It´s the first time I´m trying this edition "Eden Sugar Melon & Honeysuckle" - and it smells wonderful!
My ALL TIME favorite is the one that smells like cherry, ah-mazing 😍

This really leaves my hair smelling fresh even though it´s been a couple of days since my last hair wash. By now we all should know washing your hair every day is a no-no.. Right? Right! 😉

It does the same job as all the other Batiste dry shampoos, and if you like sugary, sweet, but fresh scents, this is definitely one you should pick up next time you´re on the hunt for a new dry shampoo!

What dry shampoo have you been loving lately?

*BLOGtober 5th* Does it work? St. Tropez In Shower Gradual Tanning Lotion *Product Review*

St. Tropez In Shower Tan

I am not going to make this a very long review, because the only thing we actually want to know about this product is - DOES IT REALLY WORK?!

And yes, yes it does! It does work, but remember this is a GRADUAL tanning lotion and it does leave you with (just) a HINT of color. It is nothing like, let´s say, St. Tropez Express, but it is a wonderful product to maintain your tan! Or if you just simply want that hint of color. A hint of color is better than no color if you ask me!

It does give a nice color that looks very natural and it has been added to my shower routine!
(even though I forgot it today and now I regret it as I am ghostly white)

St. Tropez In Shower Gradual Tanning Lotion

It is super simple to use, you basically do you normal routine with soap and everything and then you apply the tanning lotion as the last thing before you finish your shower. The lotion is rich and creamy and doesn´t drip while you wait for it work it´s wonders. The boring part is waiting 3 minutes, which doesn´t really seem that long in self-tanner-world, but in the shower 3 minutes is a long time! But let´s not actually complain about 3 minutes you guys. That´s nothing in self-tanner-world.

You then rinse it off and get out of the shower. It doesn´t have any immediate effects, but after a few hours or the next day you can clearly see a difference! I have never experienced any streaks, I have however experienced some build-up on the regular spots, my biggest problem areas are my chest area and my hands. It simply won´t stick too long without looking bad. Natural causes though! I´m constantly washing my hands and I tend to get quite warm around the chest area.

It doesn´t have that extreme self-tanning scent to it either! It doesn´t smell like nice perfume, but it doesn´t really leave a lot of scent at all. Which is A HUGE PLUS!

St. Tropez In Shower Gradual Tanning Lotion

Loving the design, it is qute and the tube works well in the shower.
I really do love this product actually! If you have thought about trying it, go ahead and do it! If you´re as obsessed about having a nice tan as I am, you will not regret it.

Have you tried this and if so, what did you think of it?

*BLOGtober 4th* L´oreal Paris Super Liner Superstar Eye Liner

Loreal Paris Super Liner Superstar Eye Liner Review

I was in need of a new eye liner and it was completely random that I ended up with this one. I thought the design was cute, it was relatively new and it had a felt tip. Sold.

I was a bit suprised when I opened it because it has this fun, tear-drop shaped innovative tip! The nib is completely flexible and makes the application very easy. It holds a ton of produt and it is very pigmented. It dries to a matte finish, it is however quite watery and is not waterproof at all. I find this quite positive though, as I like my eyeliner to be removed easily when washing my face at night.. I hate having to rub and use tons of products around my eyes to remove it (tip: coconut oil makes everything easier!).

It´s almost effortless to create a wing and the fun part with this, under light pressure the tip completely bends and makes it super easy to just follow the contours of the eye to make a nice wing. The product flows nicely without any mess and you can make it as thin or as thick as you want it.

*BLOGtober 3rd* Holika Holika Sweet Cotton Sebum Clear Powder Mist *Product Review*

Holika Holika Sweet Cotton Facial Mist

Hi all!

Today I thought I´d share with you one of my favorite Korean Cosmetic products!
Do you use any Korean brands?

This is a facial mist that has powder in it to control shine, help to take care of skin and keep the skin moist throughout the day. Sweet Cotton is a series of different products and it´s supposed to smell like cotton candy, I don´t think it does. But it does smell quite fresh and soothing.

During these cold months it´s good to lock in my makeup with something that feels replenishing on my dehydrated skin and gives a silky, lightweight finish. I don´t think it gives me the moisture that I need, but it feels nice when I apply it :)
It´s non -sticky, which is great, and is supposed to create a sweat proof, non-smudging coat over your face, it sounds like a miracle product, and I don´t think it is THAT amazing, but it really gives me what I need in terms of giving me a MATTE look and keeping my makeup somewhat in place during the day.

I´m a huge fan of the NYX facial mists, have you tried them?
I think this one keeps me matte longer during the day, I tend to get a bit shiny with the NYX spray!

The spray itself looks milky in the bottle, but it comes out transparent and doesn´t leave any white residue. As you can see in the picture all the powder is laying at the bottom of the bottle - it´s very important that you make sure to shake well before applying😊

This is not my all time favorite setting spray, but it does a really good job, and it is very affordable.

What is your favorite matte setting spray? Let me know in the comments below😊

*BLOGtober 2nd* Maybelline Brow Satin Filling Powder Duo *Review & Swatches*

Maybelline Brow Satin
Maybelline Brow Satin Review

I've been a Anastasia Brow Wiz addict for a long time now and it's a constant repurchase of mine. Recently my local drugstore stopped carrying it and my only options is to either drive for 30-40 minutes to buy it in another store or order it online and get it after a week of waiting. I don't prefer any of those options as I am a person who lives in the moment. If I want or need something, I want it right now.
I could be super organized and go buy new makeup before I actually run out of it, I mean you normally see when your powder or foundation is almost finished and when the brow pen is 1 mm short.. but no, I´m that kind of person who pray to God while drawing my brows with that empty brow pen just hoping it will last me that ONE LAST TIME. And then I have to go get a new one.

I´ve been searching for a good dupe for the Anastasia Brow Wiz, first of all I love a good dupe, and second it would be awesome to have a cheaper alternative!
NYX came out with their "Micro Brow Pen", which is supposed to be a good dupe, but I need to order that one online, and you know how I feel about that if I want it right now😅

And then I found this! I´m not quite sure it is a good dupe, but it is certainly a good alternative!

Maybelline Brow Satin Filling Powder Duo has a retractable fine tip pencil in the one end and a self loading powder sponge applicator in the other. It´s unlike anything I've seen before and its one of the reasons why it attracted me amongst the regular brow pens.

I liked the similarities to Anastasia´s Brow Wiz as of the fine retractable tip, and the possibilities of fading and blending with the sponge application. I didn´t understand until after a few times of use that it is actually a self loading powder sponge, my first thoughts was that it was simply for fading/blending.

Maybelline Brow Satin Swatch
Maybelline Brow Satin Fine Tip
Maybelline Brow Satin Sponge Applicator

I think it does a wonderful job on filling in my brows and it makes application quick. It has a dry matte finish and the powder is not too pigmented - so it´s hard to overdo. It also has no powder fall out, which is a huge plus in my book! That would be way to messy for my taste😂

The sponge does not work for me in the case of fading/blending for a ombre look, so I still use my Anastasia spoolie to do that.

I got the color that I though would match my "brunette" the best, medium brown - it is a soft neutral brown and is actually perfect for me!

My only con (and it´s a huge one) on this so far is the lasting power... Compared to Brow Wiz, it simply does not last as long. Especially not on the tail of my brows, which is the most crucial points on my brows.

I simply CANNOT go around worrying about my brows during ANY God given day or night.
"Are my brows in place?" "HAVE THEY FADED?" "Are my BROWS SMUDGED?!" "Oh Lord be with me please tell me my brows are OK" I cannot do that, I am not blessed with full natural brows and I need my brow pens to do that for me. And when it´s done, it´s done, I´m not supposed to question if my brows are still pretty or not.
It´s usually not a problem for me, but I felt a little of this concern while wearing Maybelline Brow Satin. I will give it a few more chances, just because I liked it so much!

Have you tried this Brow product? What are your thoughts on it?
Leave me a comment down below and let me know😘

St. Tropez Express Tanning Mousse

As some of us has already lost everything that can remind us the slightest of summer - I thought I´d share my favorite tanning product. It´s simply the best self tanner I know!

To keep us tanned through fall!

I am absolutely loving this mousse, it develops quickly so you can actually shower it off after 1, 2 or 3 hours - all depending on how deep color you want. You don´t come out of the shower looking like a oompa loompa as it continues to work and develop for at least 8 hrs. So if you apply during the day and shower during the day, it won´t give you the finished color until the next morning.
I find this both positive and negative, negative because it would be even better to get the finished color right away. Positive because I can shower off that nasty self tanning smell after as little as 1 hr!

St. Tropez Express Tanning Mousse

It gives such a beautiful tan. Apply with a tanning mitt and you won´t have a single streak or uneven patch.

It does smells amazing, but unfortunately it still has that nasty self tanner smell to it after applied to the skin... Does everyone struggle with this? Is it just me or can everyone smell it? Haha!

What is your favorite type/brand of self tanner?

How to treat your chemically damaged hair - Joicko K-PAK

As a hairdresser at heart I love recommending products for your hair!
I really love this shampoo and conditioner, it smells amazing and makes my hair amazing.
If your hair is damaged from let´s say bleaching and heat tools - you should try this :)

Came in this handy bag! Nice for traveling!!

Joico K-Pak Shampoo and Conditioner

This shampoo and conditioner doesn't weigh your hair down, so it fits those of us with fine hair. It also has a nice rich and creamy formula, which also makes is perfect for thicker and coarser hair!
It is supposed to repair damage, and they claim to go straight to the damaged cuticle filling in lost amino-acids, restoring the elasticity, strength and shine of the hair.

Joico K-Pak Shampoo and Conditioner

Besides Redken, Joico is one of my favorite brands!

If you are looking for a good quality shampoo/conditioner for your damaged hair, I would definitely give this a try :) It locks in moisture as well as reconstructing your damaged hair and split ends!
Combine with a good reconstructing mask about every fourth hair wash, and maybe the "split end mender" from Joico and you are off to a good start towards healthy hair!

Have you tried this?

If you have a hair care routine post on your blog I´d love to see it! :) xx

Max Factor Colour Elixir Pristine Nude Lipgloss

I love this collection of glosses, they´re beautiful and very comfortable to wear.
They come in, I think, 9 different shades and claim to spare us from that gloss-stickiness! Which is fine by me, as I said - it´s so comfortable to wear so I think that´s spot on!

I absolutely love the packaging, it´s simple yet elegant and the lasting power of the gloss is pretty good too! As it feels more like a heavy balm than a gloss, it kind of just fades away unnoticeable.. I don´t get that OMG I NEED TO REAPPLY MY GLOSS or any cracked lips or whatever.. They just look natural and healthy moist when it fades away =)

The only con is that I feel they get a slight "bad smell" to them after a short while, but right out of the tube it has a nice "creamy" scent to it..

Max Factor Colour Elixir Pristine Nude Lipgloss

"Pristine Nude" is a delicate color by itself, but it really spices up your nude lip if you already have a coat of nude lipstick/lipliner on!

I will definitely be getting more colors from this collection, I can´t wait =D

Have you tried any of these Max Factor glosses?
